About this course
What is the Parent Teaching Program?
A self-paced abacus course built for parents, not professional teachers. You learn the bead-to-visualisation method yourself, one short video at a time, then use those exact same lessons to teach your own child — no classroom, no other students, just you and your kid.
Who it’s for
Parents who want to teach their own children abacus and mental maths at home, without signing up for a full teacher-certification track or worrying about running a class. If your only goal is your own child’s learning, this is the more direct path — Teacher Training is the one to pick if you want to teach other people’s children too.
Taught in Hindi/Hinglish
This course is delivered in Hindi/Hinglish, by design — most Indian parents already explain things to their own kids in Hindi/Hinglish, so lessons taught that way are easier to follow and easier to pass on, not a compromise. (Teacher Training, our other self-paced course, is taught in English — pick whichever fits your home better.)
What you’ll learn
The same bead-technique → mental-visualisation progression the main Abacus course teaches, explained from a parent-teaching-one-child angle: how to demonstrate a concept clearly, spot the mistakes kids make most often, and know when your child is ready to move on — without any of the classroom-management or business content Teacher Training covers.
Format & duration
Short, rewatchable video lessons grouped into modules, on your own schedule with no live sessions required. Learn a lesson yourself first, then walk your child through it whenever works for both of you.
Prefer live online classes?
Join a scheduled class with a live instructor instead of learning solo — real-time feedback, set timings, a cohort of other students.
